Refined abstract wall relief by Rolf Lederbogen, Germany, 1956. Geometric and Graphic forms made of plastered and off white painted wood. The artwork is signed and dated on the back: “Rolf Lederbogen, Liblar bei Köln, Schloss Svacht, Rentmeister eli – 1956. Auf mich zu”. The work can be hanged both horizontal or vertical; Horizontal for a more soft ‘wavy’ feeling and vertical for a more ‘Brutalist’ feeling. In excellent condition.

Background information: Artist and professor Rolf Lederbogen (1928 – † 2012) has earned an international reputation for his detailed craftsmanship and unique style. Lederbogen studied at the Werkakademie Kassel. Since 1952 he worked freelance as a graphic artist and architect but also created some artworks.
